Giles McIvor In The Orlando Sentinel! Pet Paradise, a Jacksonville-based pet boarding company aimed at a higher-end market, has leased space near Orlando International Airport to build its tenth so-called pet resort in Florida.

It’s the second Pet Paradise in the Orlando area; the first opened in Sanford in 2007. The new location, 5601 Butler National Drive, is adjacent to WallyPark, a long-term parking lot about a half-mile north of the airport. The company specializes in pet drop-off for travelers. The company leased 18,000 square feet for the new facility, expected to open in April. Facilities include an in-ground swimming pool and artificial turf play areas.
